Cranmore Workshop

We sent a heap of little pots of Heritage Plum up to the one day CRANMOREhome Workshop - a wonderfully styled day full of artist workshops set on a gorgeous old family farm north of Perth. Our little pots were apart of the participants take-home gift and a we supplied a few big jars of Strawberry & Balsamic for their afternoon Devonshire Tea. Curator, Tracy Lefroy of CRANMOREhome really knows how to throw an event! Over 100 people spent the day doing 2 workshops with some of the top artistians and artists in the country and shared a long table lunch.  I would have just gone for 3 course meal with matching wines! We were thrilled that we could be apart of something really special in the bush. There are plenty of write ups on the day but I really do love the photos that House Nerd captured  - really showcases the spirit on the event.... Cranmore Home Winter Workshop

Pruning the Vines.

Its that time of year again. I find that you have to allow a whole afternoon of nice sunshine to do the pruning of our little rows of table grapes successfully. Since we purchased this property last year, I have gained a new respect for anyone who makes wine as we only have a few rows - not acres of vines! Luck was on my side this year - the weather was crisp but glorious! Afterwards I treated myself to a wheel of Brie wrapped up in puffed pastry & baked for 20 minutes at 220oC - served with Fat Strawberry & Balsamic Reduction Jam and washed the lot down with glasses of home-made lemonade it rounded off a productive day on the farm.....yes...a little piggy....
